This is an 18th-century three-wheeled bicycle 🚲

It was first used on the roads of England, with early designs appearing in the late 1700s and later improved across Europe.

The design included central pedals connected by a chain to a rear wheel, which moved the cycle forward.

What made it special was its three-wheel structure, which provided much more stability compared to early two-wheeled bicycles.

At least in the beginning, riders didn’t have to worry much about falling — making it one of the more practical early cycling designs.

18th century tricycle history, early bicycle design england, vintage three wheel bicycle, history of tricycles europe, early cycling invention, chain driven tricycle mechanism, antique bicycle evolution, stable bicycle design history, old transportation technology, classic cycle invention

  1. With the price of gas this time, they should bring that model and improve it better so we do not depend on gas anymore. A motorist version with a big wheel on the side will be a good idea to have this time. No gas expense.
