Ive ridden this section of road before, and was riding down a steep sweeping road. I know you cant be on the brakes all the time, esp with carbon wheels to keep them cool and not to overcook the carbon, but there are times where theres no way around it and you have to stop or risk dying. This particular ride I had to do an emergency stop and cooked the carbon.
At least the manufacture was willing to give me 2 new wheels, I just need to pay for the labor for lacing up the new wheels and paying for shipping.
Guess I wont be riding my Brompton down this hill anymore to avoid the same thing from happening in the future. Good thing I didnt sell off my old wheels yet.
