    Warranty should be a pretty straight forward process done by any local bike shop who deals Shimano. In the whereabouts of a 10 day process if they have the replacement in stock

    Certainly doesn’t hurt to bring it to a local Shimano dealer and ask them to try. I believe Shimano’s warranty policy is 2 year for manufacturing defects. Granted I would expect their chainring to last longer. Anyways, you may get lucky with a lenient Shimano warranty rep and they send out a new ring.
