That sounds off. Like even if you are mega rich why not just get money from that house? If you rent or sell you will have more money than you built it for because the prices of houses has gone up this past few years. I think this house has some story, maybe the family built it and couldn’t afford it so the bank took everything they had and the house and just left it there to rot. It wouldn’t surprise me because it happens often, people build their dream houses, take a big loan to create it and then they don’t have enough to pay back in time with interest. At some point the bank wants their money back so everything in that house becomes the property of the state. Problem is they have nothing to do with that house so they just ler it rot.
