First road bike advice – $1,800 Masi Evoluzione Carbon Fiber r

Help! I currently own a morbidly heavy Schwinn Steel that makes riding miserable.

I test rode a few this weekend and I love them all, but I’m all considering this Masi from fb marketplace.

I visited Trek and test rode;

– Checkpoint ALR 4 S Matte Keswick Green to Lichen Fade

Gen 3 ($1,900 + tax)

– Trek Domane AL 4 49 Hex Blue to Marianas Blue Fade Gen 4 ($1,800 + tax)

– Trek Domane SL 6 50 Marianas Blue Gen 4 (on sale for $4,000 + tax, but obviously not considering this one for my first nicer bike)

I really liked both the Checkpoint and Domane AL 4. They were a dream to ride compared to my current. Would the Masi be comparable? Lighter bc it’s carbon? Anything else I should know?
