I got really cheap flights to morocco from the 25th of april until the 5th of may and will be cycling and camping the Atlas Mountains. This is my first idea of a possible Route with some Parts of the bikepacking . com Routes. But im still looking for tips if u already cycled there. Especially for the northern Part of the Route near the Mount Toubkal 🙂
Thank You very much!

Be ready for aggressive dogs and the occasional rock throwing kid
I can’t really tell where you’re going from that map but be prepared for 40c+ temperature in the desert at that time of year.
Finding drinkable water and safe foods will be a big part of that trip there. I went once in those mountains with a guide and their van. Poverty is very high. Learn some words in Moroccan, that’ll go a very long way. Very conservative people in those mountains. So, plan your route accordingly. Also, bring tools and spares (tubes, chain link, etc), the terrain is pretty rough. 30°C+ during the day, below 10°C during the night, so keep that in mind.
But other than that, good luck, have fun, don’t die
