Id be optimistic about that, but if you wanna see if it is a crack, paint the area with some nail varnish, let it dry, then ride on it a bit. If the nail varnish has cracked, then its a crack.

To be honest I don’t really see this crack, but only grease. Get a magic sponge, spray some soapy water and try to clean the surface.

Looks like a bit of a scuff mark to me. Have you cleaned the bike with a rag of cloth that has been into contact with your chain? It looks like there are a few residue marks that come from chain dirt. If it gets in a scuff mark it’s hard to clean and maybe it looks like a crack to you?

If the caliper bolt holes haven’t been faced and there is paint over spray this is likely to be a paint / gel coat crack.
