My last bike was a Grail. But now I’ve seen the Cube Nuroad C62 SLX and thought—not bad.
These two are up for consideration:

You’re asking a Canyon community if we would choose a Canyon over another brand? I dont think you’re going to get many unbiased responses here. If the spec suits your requirements and the size is right, the bike you should get is the one you love the look of most and will want to ride more than the other.
Both Bikes are good, Take what you want. Dont blame me for your decion.
The Cubes are often great value. If I ever upgrade, I’ll probably look at Cube before Canyon honestly because often you get the same groupset and material for hundreds of Euros less. Frame quality and design I don’t know, but as long as you’re confident in doing a little fine tuning yourself after delivery (as with any direct-to-consumed product), you should be good.
Choose the one with the best fitting geometry for you.
IIRC the cube has quite a long reach, which is not for everybody.
Maybe also look into the rose backroad?
ATM i’d choose a backroad over a grail.
