  1. Can we update several new laws for boy racers and there road rage, anger against every day drivers who've done nothing wrong to them, and new cameras installed to catch boy racers,

And new laws to ban loud exhaust, chip conversions, racing lowering kits, blacked out windows, sound systems, organised speeding racing meet ups, drug taking, alcohol drinking, up setting people's sleep, up setting racing around neighbourhood s like crazy people no no no.

Where's updates for all of that ????????????????????????

  2. Soon they'll ban parking of any camper van on public roads or common land and unless you have booked a space on a site (no more than for 1 month of the year) you'll have it confiscated and have to move into a hostile and pay £500 rent per month. Just to destroy the off grid livers.

  3. I hope those watching this scaremongering rubbish, realise, that these rules only apply to users of Caravans traveling OUT of the UK to a EU country.

These are EU rules not UK regulations.

    From 26 August 2025:

UK caravans ONLY have to be registered with the DVLA IF travelling to most European countries, this applies to private touring caravans as well as commercial trailers. It is only a requirement for persons using caravans and trailers if traveling in Europe. It is not applicable in the UK and the government have made NO such remarks as descrived in this video.

Within the UK, towing rules did not change in either August or October 2025. Drivers with a standard Category B licence (car licence) can still tow trailers up to 3,500kg MAM (total train weight of 7tons, depending on limits of towing vehicle) without needing an additional test. It has been a requirement that any driver who passed their test after 1997, needs to take a 7.5t test to tow a motor vehicle weight over 3.5ton (this does not include trailers etc) and all persons who took their test prior to this maintain the right to drive vehicles up to 7.5ton until they renew their licance at 71. they can maintain their 7.5t licance, but a medical certificate is required to be sent to the DVLA.

The October 2025 update was more about DVLA guidance enforcement at European borders, not a new UK law. This guidence is not for use within the UK and is only required for travel within the EU.

Exceptions: Some countries, like Ireland and Spain, do not require registration for caravans over 750kg, as they rejected the EU's Vienna Convention on Road Traffic.

  4. Another reason for doing this because, more and more people are giving up their homes. Where they have to pay rent, council tax, electricity bills etc etc.. So less money for the goverment . Because renting or owning a home is so expensive now. People cant afford it. So living off grid is a much simpler and more cost effective to live ur life. And all you have to worry abt is that you keep the campervan in road worthy condition. It is the way forward in my eyes. Which I plan ti do in abt 4 yrs time. Paying rent and council tax for what reason ? Local councils do feck all when you need things sorted.
So goverment will make it as hard as possible for you to have a campervan and live a free life. Also younger people can't get a mortgage as the repayments are ridiculously expensive. So the government only have themselves to blame …

  5. If you check with the DVLA you'll see that this video is just click-bait BS misinformation. Report this channel to stop crap like this spreading panic.

  6. Drivers 70 or over who passed their test before 1997 automatically lose the C1, C1E, D1, D1E entitlements on the new licence they receive on their 70th birthday, unless they apply for it on renewal, and involves medical & vision certification I understand.

  7. How about scrutinising individuals who passed inferior tests in other countries and are allowed to drive here. I have noted that their basic driving skills, courtesy and knowledge of basic road rules are not present. Would this not be a better target on a road safety basis

  8. Vans have always had gross vehicle weight and train weights are nothing new there, it's caravan nose weight most people are clueless about which causes these accidents

  9. Considering some of the ridiculously oversize and poorly maintained motor homes and caravans semi-permanently parked on narrow roads round here it's more than time somebody actually tried to enforce the rules – regardless of when there were made.

  10. Fix the roads first! That would be the best thing and meet saftey standards for the actual road users. Maybe the public should start sueing! The Goverment and DVLA. For Taking the complete mikeal out of road users and not providing a proper service for what we pay for! 🤗
