  1. Human-readable measurement units for me! I mean, kilometers and Celcious ;D On a more serious note, an annual adventure like this with your group of friends sounds like a wonderful idea! Love it!

  2. Don't know if you noticed, all UK road signs are in MILES. Really bugs me that UK cyclists think its cool to quote kilometers (sometimes even pronounced weirdly😅). Bet you also ordered a pint…or 2😅😅😅
Chapeau though Peter, rant over. Oh maybe not, not a fan of ultra wide angle insta360 either.
(Still enjoy your channel in case you wondered❤)

  3. @petertreadway It was like watching my struggles that day. Those open bits of countryside were like a frying pan. You're lucky you found a pub doing food. None of the ones I landed at were cooking anything! Think next time I do CTS I'll get a support van and crew to ride with. You fancy it next year 🤔

  4. Eric ride and that is a heck of a lot of elevation. Good to have a group to suppirt each other and to crack the whip when necessary. Also as a Canadian of a certain age i can manage to comprehend both types of units.😅

  5. Hi Peter fabulous ride so far Jimmy seems a bit quiet more Jimmy the motivator 😂 and well done for your support driver keeping you well stocked up with snacks 🎉 fore of the riders in my group did the lap of Essex a couple of weeks ago over a long week end 300 miles yes miles you can keep your K’s a 100 miles a day as I have a large estate car with a fore bike rack I got nominated as support driver 😂 it was for the Essex &Herts air ambulance that week end was cold wet and windy to my shame at each stop at no point did I wish I was on my bike but to the lads to there credit they did it starting and finishing Northweald airfield where the helicopter is based it set the tone for the ride as they set off it started to rain sorry Peter I’m rambling now 🤫 looking forward to day two next week well done to you and the group again 👍

  6. Ты знаешь друг…У меня умер отец, 3 марта этого года… Я обязан ему своей возможностью сейчас гоняться на велосипеде. Я очень прошу вас, делайте вашу армию сильней с каждым разом! Пусть у вас будет еще много побед.

  7. Why did you decide to go down to Cheddar Gorge and Bath? Surely a better way was straight though Chippenham from Severn Bridge? Less miles, sorry kilometres 🤣 Looked good like a great ride but too hot. Steve

  8. That is one weird camera view watching your legs go up and down 😂 never seen that before…..for a reason?

Cracking effort, I was out on that day and at 60 miles I pulled stumps

  9. That was a great ride, and video! I recently got heat exhaustion on a 300km ride. The temp rose to 34 deg.C! I bailed out at 174km and got the train back.

I reluctantly say use km, because all Audax long distance rides are done in km. I'm getting pretty good at converting km to miles now in my head and often jump between the two. I could never bring myself to using Fahrenheit !
