Lmao yes please park illegally it’s a good way for it to get legally stolen by a tow truck 😂
Had a bike stolen shortly after unlocking the steering. Tells me making it hard to move is the best defense.
I park mine next to the planet fitness door
parks in handicap zone
if they try to steal my bike I'll hear the explosion in the parking lot from inside the store.
I just park behind the store
Lmao pet tracker and glock to match for me
If you leave it on 1rst gear they'll just pull in the clutch and move it lol
Lock the bike in gear?
Pull the clutch in my guy, it’s now free to roll.
You want chains and locks/alarms , preferably a tether to the ground so they can lift it into a truck or van without cutting it
Buy a lock? Steering locks are damn near worthless.
IF you don’t want your bike damaged, perhaps don’t park illegally in a handicap access lane. That’s not for motorcycles. And trust me, there are plenty of people out there like me that get furious when they see this and we do stuff to your bike
Ty
Lol nobody wants that 400cc scooter of yours
I love your bike so much!! ❤❤😭😭😭
This is top tier information fr😂
Steering locks are easily broken – they kick the bars and break the locking lug off. Here in the UK everybody at minimum uses a disc lock and if you're parking in a regular spot it's routine to lock both wheels with one being chained to something solid, ideally a proper ground anchor.
The locking the bars to the left and parking up front make sense, but putting the bike in 1st gear doesn't make a ton of sense. What would make more sense is shifting it into 5th or 6th because most people would assume it's just a half click away from going into gear. They're less likely to kick it down 4.5 gears. Of course, anyone who really knows would just grab the clutch and wheel it around while in gear. That said, these just help mitigate the issue. Steering locks can be pretty easily broken, but the bike being in plain view makes it much less likely to happen. To further mitigate it, a brake lock is quick, cheap, and easy to install. Again, a determined person can still get it off or 4 guys can lift it into a van or something, but it makes it that much more difficult to mess with when combined with being in plain view of cameras/people and having the steering locked. You basically want to make it as inconvenient as possible. People don't want to get caught, so if you make it evident that they will be noticed, your odds of not getting your shit stolen goes up.
Get a Monimoto tracked, disc lock, a chain and theft coverage if you want actual theft protection.
Bikes get stolen often in my city and most people don’t have garages.
I’m definitely getting theft insurance and liability if I get a bike… luckily it’s only like 15 per month for the 250cc bike I want
Disc lock alarm too.
It's not like there's a clutch lever or anything
🙏 🦾🦾🦾
Simply, don’t get it stolen. I am still worried that my motorcycle might be stolen.
as for leaving it in gear, pull the clutch simples

Bruh these don't work that good 'cause I probably won't have the spot which is in eyes as all uni students park there and my classes are a bit later
I put a timed explosive on mine. Muhahahahah.
Steering lock is setup in the uk if a thief breaks the lock that are very easy broken the insurance company will nearly always write the bike off 🤦♂️
i hope you know steering lock doesnt do shit
Bro… that handlebar lock can be broken with a si gle strong kick.
Thieves lay on the seat, and big boot the handle bars.
Get a disc lock.
Litelock or Hiplock are the best options as theyre diamond rated and take around 5 to 8 grinder discs to cut through them.

A victim of motorcycle theft in London.
It's best to anchor the frame with a heavy duty chain to something that can't easily be cut. If there's nothing to anchor the bike to then there's nothing to stop some dudes with a van from picking the bike up and shoving it in.
The next best thing would be to buy a couple of motion activated alarms and disc locks to make a huge racket when anything happens to it.
None of those tips work here in the UK. Steering lock? Easy to break.
Security cameras? 😂😂
In gear? They just pull the clutch. Witnesses? They don't give a flying fk. And the police don't give a shit either.
Also, the kickstand, because in ur other video it said if you have the kickstand down it won't move
I got a tracker on mine
I think that 400 will be ok
Theives have no idea what that little pedal on the left does.
Get a BIG chain and loop it around your frame or swing arm and around those concrete poles. Make them at least pick it up 5 ft off the ground.
Keeping it in first? A quick google search with a phone "How to get a motorcycle to neutral" , I watched a video of 2 guys breaking the handle bars free of the left angle lock. Bad tips.
1. Steal something in broad daylight and nobody even notices.
2. Just shift your bike back into neutral, you dont need the key to do that.
3. put a foot on your left clipon and push, snapping your steering lock.
4. load it into a van, who cares about cameras, cops dont care about stolen motorcycles/cars, that's what insurance is for.
If someone wants it, they're going to get it. Just have full coverage insurance.
Ahh yes the first gear trick… Been fooling criminals for years……..
I guess pulling in the clutch lever doesnt defeat leaving it in gear?
The tow truck will take your bike, pretty sure those yellow lines mean no parking 😂😂
