Damn, DC’s bike friendliness was top notch. Between the metro, Car2Go (a Smart Car car sharing program) and capital bike share, there was no need to bring my car back a decade ago.

Eh, that space should be used for car traffic or parking. Either would be nice for the community. This is a fairly smart move. Build bike lanes in the sidewalk area… or make it shared use.
