  1. I had the chance to test the Aethos for a ride and i was so suprised at how hard it was to maintain speed on the flat. The bike is so light it feels like a feather and reacts to air as such 😅

  2. I’m a bit surprised for long rides people don’t run flats instead. You can reposition your feet a lot more that way, an honestly don’t notice any power transfer difference.

  3. Unless people are racing, most of us should be buying and setting up bikes for comfort. Why do I care if I’m losing a little in aero? It’s going to take me 5 minutes longer to get to the muffin shop and I’ll feel better the whole time. Bike manufacturers have us all buying bikes for marginal aero and weight “gains” because the mystique that surrounds those things earns them more money. A simple, reliable, easy-to-service, comfortable bike is what almost all of us should be riding. People won the TDF with unintegrated cables 15 years ago, but now I need to have the complexity of cables integrated into stems and headsets or I’m not serious? It’s a scam.

  4. The frame is clearly too small for you. One or two bigger sizes would fit you better andl give you all the stack you need instead piling tons of spacers on that poor fork. The raised stem is an aestethic nightmare too. You are overthinking on cranks and pedals when the right frame size is the correct starting point

  5. Hi! What is your take on that xcadey powermeter? I currently use a 4iii precision on the non-drive crank and am considering upgrading to double powermeter. This one seems nice but haven't heard much about it. A video on that piece of gear would be nice! Cheers!
