Posted this in the weekly thread but it didn’t get any traction.

Just got my Aeroad CF SLX 8 Di2 on Monday. Can't wait to ride it but it's freezing and there's snow and ice on the ground. Plus, I'm going to a fitter next week to dial it in so I can return it for a different size if needed.

I removed the rear wheel to check out the Di2 system and remove some stickers and the cassette came right off the hub. I'm use to having to remove the lock ring to remove it on my previous bikes. I'm sure this is a dumb question but is this normal with the new Ultegra setup or is something missing?

It appears that your cassette may have come off. This is common for some DT Swiss and Fulcrum wheels. You can probably just put it back on. Here is a relevant video for DT wheels https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXJ2ao-Iq14

  2. Its the DT SWISS Ratchet Freehub system – it is excellent and easy to maintain. Totally normal, just push it back on. There is no need to remove the cassette to get to the freehub ratchet. Clean those cogs out a few times per year and apply the red DT Swiss grease.
