Think you have to tighten the cable tension nut. It’s not really doing anything now.
Obviously the barrel adjuster’s been unscrewed to the point it’s not doing anything.
Screw that back up first and then look at the adjustment on the caliper. Maybe new brake pads are needed.
That little metal cap that’s dangling off should be screwed on to that metal pipe that’s coming out of the black shifter body. If you screw that back on it should work 👍
