  1. Good frame, mid componentry; will upgrade well over time, though. Maybe a couple hundred more than what I’d like to pay, but if I had a good relationship with the shop, a couple hundred is worth them taking care of you. Shopping around is also time and effort, obviously.

  2. Personally I think the frame shape is accurately named so I would pass. But it seems like a solid choice for price performance

  3. I have exactly one ride on a Revolt, and I quite enjoyed it. Somewhat relaxed geometry, very capable on mild XC trails. Definitely gravel biased, but could serve as a road bike in a pinch.

  4. Unless you want to stick to the legacy brands, I would look into a polygon Strattos C8 from BikesOnline. I have the previous model S8, and it’s by far the best value and awesome customer service

If you love it, go for it! The only part that doesn’t hold up in the long run is the crank set, replace the cranks with grx 400 to match the rest of the group and you’ll be set.

I’ve got the aluminum one as a beater bike, upgraded with sram 1x components. Can’t recommend it highly enough
