Yes it’s probably repairable by a carbon repair shop. But i am pretty sure that it’s gonna be quite expensiv.

i’m thinking it’s new bike day for you.

If the carbon itself is cracked in that area, I wouldn’t trust a repair in such a high stress location.

Did you inspect if the carbon actually cracked? I’m wondering if the shell just deformed enough to crack the paint.
If cracked, very likely a shop that specializes in carbon fiber repair can fix it for some hundreds of dollars. That spot is easy to access and I guess the finish won’t have to be perfect either.

Carbon is in some ways a forgiving material in that it can be almost infinitely repaired by people who know it well.
Sadly the cost of repairs for that is likely to be a good chunk more than buying a replacement frame.

That is crazy to happen during a BB install. That’s a pretty built up area for that exact reason.
Did you have a look to see if it was damaged before you installed the BB?

You get to buy a new bike, nothing screwed except the frame.

Did you use a torque wrench? If not that’s totally on you.
