hi everyone, 1st time posting need some advice, have just done a frame swap, both bikes are very similar i swapped my stanton slackline frame out for a stanton switchback same size etc, only difference is i had stanton headset cups on my slackline and the switchback has a hope headset installed, when ive swapped parts over ive noticed that there's a slight gap at the bottom of the steerer tube but there wasnt a gap when they were installed on my slackline, any advice? after tightening top cap and stem bolts its steers fine and is really smooth so I dont know if maybe it is meant to be like that, asking for peace of mind more than anything

As long as steering and braking aren’t issues and the headset operates smoothly, I wouldn’t worry.
Did you change the crown race on the fork too? Races are often specific to each headset.
Do you have a crown race installed?
Yes crown race is installed
