I’ve posted about this before but kind of shelved the idea for a bit. I’m now back to looking for a basic bike for my wife—she’s really just wanting something to ride around the neighborhood with the kids.
She came across these two options on Facebook Marketplace. Assuming both are in good working condition, which one would be the better choice?
I’m familiar with Giant as a brand, but not the other one.

I would not buy bike with grip shifters like #2.
I would prefer a bike without suspension fork for causal riding.
I think bike 1 would be a fine choice.
