  1. i would remove a spacer so the tube protrudes just above the stem and added a specer above it

  2. I believe people say as long as it’s above the upper clamp bolt it’s fine – but as mentioned, if you’re worried, it looks like one of those tiny spacers can be removed

Once you add the expander this is the minimum depth you will need. So don’t worry about it.

« Enlève une bague » à votre avis pourquoi il a autant de bague et il pose la question ?? Peut être parce qu’il a besoin d’autant de bagues, non?

I’ve just fitted that stem to my latest build with matching bars and carbon seatpost lol, all new-old stock 🙂

Looks about right, but I’ve been advised that you should have a spacer on top of the stem if you have a carbon steerer. Don’t forget that the expander plug (I assume you’re using) will add another few mm to the steerer height

  6. I’d take out one of your smallest spacers, personally. I doubt it’ll be an issue but it’ll make essentially no difference to your bike while providing a safer clamp on the steerer. As others have said, you can always add a small spacer over top, that’s a much easier problem to fix vs being too short.

  7. As others have said, it’s fine. The only way it’s too short is if you wanted some room to adjust the stem upwards in the future.
