I don’t think there’s any real negative to most racks so long as they fit your bike.
* Heavy, especially given very limited features.
* Little support for panniers
* No lower luggage rail so difficult to use panniers and top platform at the same time.
* Doesn’t support standard bolt on rack light.
* Upper stays less adjustable than many.
