This is the first time ive seen inside one of these. I really like all the physical switches and controls. I detest the trend these days for huge tablet screens with nearly every control on them. This looks great.
I saw at least 4 or 5 like this in Iceland between june – dec 2024. Every time they passed by I was wondering if I could just see what that car was. Now I know, and it is beautiful and I want it
Not a BMW transmission. It is fitted with a ZF 8HP75 on the diesel or a 8HP45 on the petrol. The 8HP75 is also fitted to all six cylinder modern Defender.
It’s really sad because they stole a lot of ideas from other people and long story short from what three people that I know own them is they’re not reliable. They’re always in the shop and they’re very expensive to fix.
I like the discovery better, I don’t like the two small sun roofs. That’s a ridiculous number of buttons. I understand if you bought this thing to fight a war but let’s get serious, people are just using these things to go camping or to the super market

that bmw shifter is hideous though. doesn’t match a thing and needs to go.
