Installed eagle 90 on my yeti as I was tired of charging batteries on my last drive train. Got through the entire install process only to have this shitty little cable clamp bolt cross thread. The threads on this derailleur are incredibly soft. I guess this is what you get when you go against your better judgement. I always thought eagle 90 looked cheap.

  1. Shimano slx seems to be the sweet spot between cost and quality.

    Sram feels clunky and mechanical to me.

    But some people like the textile feedback.

    Cross threaded the aluminium and blames the parts. That hole is more than cross threaded, looks like you went at it with an impact gun.
