$220 Giant Escape 3

I am looking to get into cycling and I don’t necessarily want to drop $1k right away for a fancier bike. I’m a total newbie and want to familiarize myself with components and features before committing to a “fancier” bike/figure out what’s best for me. Lastly, I’m looking for a hybrid for fitness purposes. I would appreciate any opinions on the value of this bike and/or any similar recommendations. Seller is not sure what year this was released but it was bought in 2024. TIA!
