Looks like a double apex corner ,,,red totally misses the line to exit applying the power late and still on leaning,,,racing is all about passing in the corners so let the other guy pass you into the corner and he will brake too late miss the apex you drive thought it to the next one . Racing in the rain will make you smooth and fast.
Been go karting about 3 times in my life, never raced a real car. This lesson is entirely based on the hand picked turn, that is completely obvious. Keep at it guys, will maybe see you on a F1 podium soon 😂
A decreasing radius turn. This gives you better exit speed which is really important if the turn ends onto a straightaway. Starting the drag race with a few more mph helps all the way down the straight.
Yes but max verstappen has proven that if you go in and break late and then cut off the momentum of the car that will have better exit then you will benefit from going in early.
You have to be as good as max to pull it off but that's the way you gotta do it to be the best t

This driver didn’t get ‘sucked in’ to anything. He had the inside line but overshot. If he parks his car on the apex he wins the corner.

I would have taken the start way way wider held speed the cut back just after the outer white ends. It would smooth out the hook as well

The red ran it as if the apex was at the front of the turn unlike this track where the apex is at the end.

Thats why you stop on the apex to defend let them try to take the outside and have them wash out
It's a parabolic curve (like at the Monza circuit) but it's taken the wrong way, it must widen at the exit.
