This video was recorded in May 2025 with some updates on November 2025
This video features Roystonhill spire, Tureen street school, Belgrove hotel and the McVities biscuit factory. I talk about Kyle street, Baird street and the future Inner north network. Also talk about the Monklands canal, Duke street Avenue project and the next phase of the east city way. With drone shots of the progress so far. This project did take quite some time to edit and complete when I eventually got started. Will provide more links after upload.

  1. Unbelievable the didn't protect both the hall and church. Sure, change is inevitable, but it seems wasteful, considering it could have been a feature. It might have been a bookshop like the one in Maastricht 😂

  2. With the exception of the cycle lanes, which are very welcome, it feels like everything done to 'improve' Glasgow in the last 60 years has made it significantly worse. The level of destruction is astounding, and what replaces those beautiful buildings is ugly, denuded and cheap.

  3. Great update as usual! What's the Paul Sweeney bit all about though? The guy applied for a building to be listed after it had already been demolished, hardly got his finger on the pulse has he 😂
