After a disappointing misfire I think I found what I’ve been looking for, Endurace CF SLX 7 Di2. So much change and education from my last purchase in 1988, including that I can’t afford Ultega anymore. Huge shout out to the Canyon crew in Carlsbad (US/CA) who went way out of the way to help this old guy. If you live anywhere near there I highly recommend a visit.

My first bike was also a Centurian Dave Scott Ironman. Who can forget biopace chain rings?
Anyway, I’m in the same boat in that my current ride, Serotta CSi, turns 26 in a few months snd I’ve been looking hard at Canyon Endurace bikes
Congrats on the upgrade! Ohh I love those Dave Scott Ironman Centurions! Got one from 87 that I converted to fixed gear. Still love that bike!
