2 days ago I found a budget Brompton with almost no information about it. I was originally looking for a cheap one just to try the Brompton experience, and I thought an old 2-speed would be enough for me.
It turns out it’s actually a 2020 M6L (I think), so quite a bit better than what I expected.
I usually ride a full Omnium Cargo, but since I moved from the city to a more suburban area, it’s just too heavy for the longer commute.
The idea is to bring the Brompton on my motorcycle, ride into Paris, park the bike, then unfold the Brompton and continue the rest of the way.
Do you have any front bag recommendations?
And is there a rear rack option that works well if I want to carry my motorcycle helmet and some work stuff?
Thanks!

I use a front bag from one chinese site, that looks like original. Works well for more than a year.
When I got it I broke bag frame with my knee when it was cold, fixed it with a piece of a carbon. Got replacement frame for a few bucks, from day one reinforced with a carbon in the same way. Since then it is fine. Packed there up to 7kg. Feels flimsy on local roads with potholes but still fine.
Also there’s a cheap aluminum rear rack that connects to easy wheels bolts instead of brake mount. Having it also for about a year, works perfectly for me. Even made a custom hooks for it. You can print them if you want. Link to the rack is also there [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7311370](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7311370)
Congrats! I want to see pics of your Brompton “hunchback” of Notre Dame motorcycle ride!
Vincita makes tons of bags for Brompton’s … esp rear bags … look at both G and regular Brompton bags there … many times fits both frames … think BDR bag good for helmet. I have their Atlas bag for front, for my electric C-12 (And boomerang, and Nova, and super-nova!)

H&H might have a lighter rear rack too … or do default Brompton one for it.
