About a month ago, I sheered off the bolt holding on my rear derailleur. The chain went between the cogs and spokes causing the derailleur extension to break, but luckily the spokes and wheel were in tact.
I got a new Derailleur extension (two actually) online, a couple of tools and a new chain; then just had the gears realigned. Also I gathered some other things!
-RockBros fenders
-Meroca pedals
-Rhinowalk handlebar bag
I rode today to get the gears aligned between rain showers, it seems like the fenders held up alright, frame a little wet and dirty, and my left leg (calf-down) was wet. So maybe some small adjustments are needed. The posts for the front fender were too long so I cut them down with my dremel but it feels like I need to change the position.
It’s not much, not the best bike in the world but very slowly turning into a bit of a pride and joy!

Love to see a Triban
How did you mount your rain showers? Mine always make the gears messy. JK
Don’t dis your bike. It’s different and will serve you well. You could always buy the same ole but there’s no joy in that.
What are those mud guards?
What bolt exactly did you shear? It is my biggest fear on my triban 120 that the derailleur hanger will break and cannot be replaced as it is part of the frame
