  1. What on earth?? Forward/back. All bikefitters say to set the cleats back behind this bone! By about 1 cm, even. I understand what you’re suggesting that it is ‘STARTING position’. But everyone says to set them back. Not in line. Bonus question: what if that bone is in a different position in the left and right feet? Should I make a 5 mm difference?

  2. How reliable are the markings on the soles of the shoes, from left to right, and also, if you get new shoes (same model), same question, can you match markings?

  3. i've been to two physio fits, both said put the cleat all the way back, never had a problem with that, but the stance width is tricky. i had to put my cleat all the way in to keep my knees inline straight.

  4. Love your videos. I’ve had neuropathy in both feet starting with L3/L4 degeneration. After surgery the back pain went away, but the foot pain never did. It’s constant and I wear all manner of soft shoes and insoles. Because of the carbon sole and insole padding I can still ride but deal with quite a bit of pain during and after. Any advice on setting up cleats or in general ?
Thanks for your great videos, wish I was near you but I am in the USA.
