Episode 16 – Camino de Santiago Adventure Begins! 🚴♂️🛤️
After the incredible Plazaola Greenway, we head toward Pamplona and officially start pushing west along the legendary **Camino de Santiago** (French Way) – overlapping with **EuroVelo 1** and **EuroVelo 3** (Pilgrims Route). This historic path is pure magic: rolling Navarre landscapes, charming little Camino villages with stone churches and pilgrim vibes, and ever-changing scenery that keeps us smiling.
Day 1 brings a bit of rain (classic Camino welcome!), turning parts muddy and slippery… but the next two days? Perfect! Sunshine breaks through, drying the paths just enough for smooth riding, with dramatic hills, green valleys, and that special pilgrim energy in every village we pass. After so many tough weather days, this felt like a long-awaited gift.
Camino life is real – mud, sun, history, and heart. We’re hooked!

Fond memories for me of my bike ride from Belgium to Santiago de Compostella last year.

What was the name of the town/city at 23:20 and then again where you stayed at Hostel San Pedro at the end?
