I have an older rim brake bike and am wondering if you can run AXS blips without running the AXS shifters as I have no need for hydraulic. Website pictures lead me to believe the answer is yes, but i wanted to confirm (https://www.sram.com/en/sram/models/ec-blip-b1).

Yes, wireless blips can pair to AXS derailleurs directly.
Have done this on an old 1980 bikes where the customer don’t want to changes his old school brake levers.
The catch is you can’t hold it to muilt-shift.
Was toying with the ideas of putting it where the downtube shifter is at, but decide against it.
