$1200 for 2018 Specialized Diverge for commute and exercise – worth it?

Hello folks, I'm back with another questions / call for help. What do we think of $1200 for this bike? I'm looking to buy a bike that I would use to commute to work but also for longer 15-20 mile rides around the bay area on most weekends (aka lots of hills, occasionally would want to check out gravel paths but if I'm being real I'd mostly be on the road). I used to ride a good amount but then my bike got stolen 🙁 I now have space to store a bike inside my apartment and so am willing to get a somewhat nicer bike. I'd also like it to be light enough that it's not a pain to carry it up the flight of stairs to my apartment.

54cm is the right size for me but I am a woman and this is a men's bike, though I feel like that doesn't make a huge difference. Looking for input on whether this is a worthwhile purchase for my needs and for the quality of the bike. Thanks in advance!
