I’ve not had a new bike day for a while. Salsa is dropping this soon and I got a frame on pre-order. The color is Raw Midnight, which I thought was going to be black, but it’s dark purple.
Spec’d with Force and trying the XPLR wheels with 45mm tires. Front has a ton of room, but not sure how big I could go on the rear, probably 50mm ok.
I like the 3 bottle mount option. Not thrilled about internal brake lines, but wasn’t too bad after I figured out my stem setup. The rear brake has a little carbon sleeve attached to the down tube that it runs through so it doesn’t rattle, so thought that was cool too.
Re-set a KOM on the first ride, so it is pretty fast too.

I saw the new bike at Mid South yesterday. It’s a good looking bike. Makes me want a new one.
Is that Red powermeter with Force cranks?
Nice bike. I am *probably* going to get the GRX 610 build. I am still evaluating over the Diverge 4.
