Chinese cycling products are becoming more popular than ever, but with so many brands on AliExpress it can be difficult to know what’s genuine and what isn’t. I travel to London for new bike day.
I’m visiting a bike shop making it easier to ride the Aero bike of you’re dreams, beginner or veteran, this video is a deap dive into how buying an imported bike is now easier than ever
Thanks for being here.

Thanks for sharing Ben. Great to see you on your new machine.
That bike certainly looks to be great value for money. My worry about buying direct from China is that it undermines British and European brands. We are seeing a massive influx of Chinese EVs, heavily subsidised and therefore cheap. These are destroying European manufacturers, and will eventually remove buyer choice. Be careful what you wish for.
Luv the colour. Enjoy Mallorca.
Recently bought a new Chinese bike here in South Florida from a local bike shop. I bought a Quick Pro with a custom paint scheme and a full ultegra di2 group set for a sub $4k price. Great deal and a great price .
This is sick. Chinese bikes are the future 😮
what a beautiful bike! congrats Ben, keep riding it 🙂
Omg… They really need to change that name!
Sunpeed! Lol
Shouldnt it be called Sunspeed?
Maybe that’s why it’s sooo cheap, not a lot of paint as you have found out to keep price down. I’d be pissed off if the paint on my bike came off so easily…..
I ordered some elite wheels from Ali express just dropped them at back yard to get tyres and sealant sorted. wheels look pretty good can't wait to try them.
With a shop that offers warranty I would not hesitate to buy a Chinese brand bike
Really well made video mate 👍
Look great bikes – ok paint isnt the best but its going to get damaged at some point from stones
Vash Sanpeed? (Trigun reference)
I have no issue with bikes from China, but some of the brand names simply don't work for the western market.
Nice bike 👍🏻 pity about the paint👎🏻. Least it’s not dust on the frame . Shows it’s been ridden
Ahh man, I’m in alcudia but come home on the 9th of may
Bloody hell amazing bike can't believe pay £1.800 Chinese got to get one 😳🙄👍😉

Lot of comments on the name and whilst a lot of the chinese brands have odd names, they look as good as any ‘named’ brands and the price is superb.
yes i would purchase may even pay them a visit probably in Mallorca end of April
That’s a great looking bike!
I didn't stop during the winter and I'm looking forward to this year, did my first century last month, going for another one this weekend!
I certainly would consider one of these bikes for 1800 seems a good deal
He seems like a great guy!!!
Love my Elves! Amazing bike, super fast and light and the customer service by the UK team Simon and SJ are best
Luv you Ben, keep the pedals spinning!
I feel like with Chinese brands we all know everything is made in china – it’s when the proverbial hits the fan is when it counts going with big name brands
If the customer service, warranty, after care etc starts to get on par with the “big names” it’s a winning formula 🤜
What’s your thoughts on the creative carbon wheels
I wish I could afford a trip to Mallorca but it's way out of my pension range. I would have to hire a bike as well.
Every bike will get scratched eventually, but those chips on day one, on such a visible place from a car seat? Ouch. I think Phil Gaimon has a solution for you.
Just to share some information to people unfamiliar with the brand, Sunpeed has been here in Chile for like 5 years, and i haven't own one myself (just tried a couple, road and gravel) but since their arrival, it has been a really competitive brand in price/quality/components. I know a lot of people who have them and no one has had any problem or trouble.
No doubt China has made a long way: good bikes, good quality standards, better prices.
Great video Ben!
