I was so lucky to be able to receive this bike as a gift but I know nothing about bikes. I’ve wanted a road bike for commuting to work but never pulled the trigger. I’m wondering what brand/model this is. I’m also wondering what the value of the bike would be, because I don’t want to be gifted anything expensive. Thank you in advance for your help!

It’s a Kona Dew Plus, should be able to see the words “DEW PLUS” just above the bottle cage and Kona on the top tube.

Up to you if that’s expensive for a free bike. Can easily spend a lot more. As long as it’s in good working order and fits you I’d thank the giver and ride on.
