Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Pinterest Bluesky Threads Hello there, last week I brought the wheels of my bike to true and align, now they fit like this… Is that they forgot to do the alignment? Thanks by FoxRoig Bicycling Bike Bike Repair Biking Cycling Repair
stasigoreng on March 12, 2026 6:16 pm Yeah that’s definitely not aligned lol. Return it and show them why… this is not acceptable at all.
coffeepoop42069 on March 12, 2026 6:17 pm Is the hub fully seated in the dropouts? That would be an insane amount for a wheel to be out of dish.
Seanbikes on March 12, 2026 6:20 pm Its a quick release wheel. You should reseat the wheel the drop outs before you do anything else. If you still have an issue after reseating the wheel in the dropouts, then take it back to the shop.
omkaty on March 12, 2026 6:21 pm it’s rim brake hub centered, not disc brake hub centered (noob here too 😇)
MaxTrixLe on March 12, 2026 6:23 pm Just loosen the quick release, then tighten it once the wheel is properly seated in the dropouts
Shelby-5000 on March 12, 2026 6:27 pm Alinhado está. Este é o problema! É preciso deixar os raios tencionados do lado do rotor de freio, para compensar o espaço ocupado no eixo “guarda chuva”

More like the shop screwed up the wheel dish
