These bed lifts (of every kind) fascinate me. Not because I think they're awsome – they just destroy a huge amount of usable space. No overhead cabinets, nothing on the sides. What's the point of this anyway? Dancing floor?
cuando pongas el colchón taparás las luces. Tienes que poner luces también bajo la cama para que tengas luz cuando está elevada. Pero las del techo deberán apagarse porque si quedan encendidas en contacto con las sábanas, pueden recalentarse. Se me ocurre un interruptor que se accione a la vez que subes las cama y haga el cambio de luces automáticamente según la posición dela cama.

I did mine similar but put wheels at the end to run in a channel and put locking pins to hold it in place when up. He will need bigger pistons when he puts a mattress on it.
