I got this bike for my kid. Assembled it today and noticed the front brake doesn't work. The lever/arm thing on the brake assembly moves fine, but it doesn't appear to have any effect on the pad. With the wheel off, I can see directly between the two brake pads, and I can confirm that they are not moving when the little arm moves. Do I have a bad brake assembly, or is there something inside the brake assembly that need to be adjusted?

Neutral pad probably needs to be turned in
Sometime, the spring pop out of the pin location hole, this the bolt beside the “JAK super brake”.
Undo the bolt you find the spring has pop out on pin location hole.
Cable end not seated in the hole. (Not that that’s the main problem)
