Got this bike in 2019 from someone who owned it pretty much since it was new outside of NYC for about $100!
I’m not a cycling expert but found this sub and like a lot of the builds. This year I finally want to make some adjustments/upgrades. Photos are in order from most recent to oldest i’ve the last couple years .
– New fork (shocks are shot not sure exactly when but it’s been a while)
– BMX handlebars because the seat is just too aggressive for me, I want to cruise around more upright
– New tires for more city riding
If anyone has suggestions or ideas please share!

I had a dead Rockshox Quadra I got on a 1990s Mongoose a few weeks ago and did the Kronos spring “upgrade” when I couldn’t find elastomers for it. It wasn’t too bad, just needed to fish out the crumbly elastomer bits with an old spoke and grease everything with light grease. The kit is pretty easy to find, about $50 all-in on ebay. If that’s a mid-90s elastomer Judy, the spring kit is hard to beat.
What a rad bike, love that fork!
The geometry looks tasty 😋 more steeper seattube and headtube angle ⚡
This bike reminds me of a early 1990s Reflex, theY may have shared some DNA

Does the bike feel too long, or the bars just feel too low?
