I’m struggling to find appropriate snacks and meals, I can’t have gluten or high processed sugar. I’ve been living on over night oats for breakfast and then rice & tuna for dinner (or just tuna when I’m too tired to cook rice) but we have 6 months on the road and I’m making myself ill just neglecting my intolerances. Does anyone have any advice?

Peanut noodles (peanut butter powder, rice noodles, dried or fresh veg, beans or TVP for protein) is a fav of mine

  2. I like 1 part dry red lentils, 1 part instant brown rice, two parts water. Add seasonings and cook ~5-10 mins. Filling, good protein, but packs light and you can premake the dry portions so you can just dump a baggie in water and be good to go.

  3. I have celiac disease and love bikepacking! have you tried a good polenta? I usually also carry rice noodles, cashew nuts and almonds, peanut butter and rice cakes, a few soups and lots of chocolate.

When I travel with friends they like to make a common meal and share, but I find it very inconvenient so I always go with my own food to make things easier.

Knorr chicken and broccoli rice with a packet of chicken . Mashed potatoes always good. Tortillas plain because I was tooo tired and hunger became my sauce. ❤️
