Looking into getting into riding as a first timer so looking for some input from all you experienced riders. Seller has it listed in great condition but states that there is buildup in the tire wire-spokes due to the bike being stored near the beach. Is $300 a good deal if it really is in great condition?

Definitely not 300, if it has corrosion on the spokes from salt there’s almost certainly other problems elsewhere. Also think it’s fairly old with the quill stem, probably 100-150 in most markets.
Sizing is the most important thing, so make sure you get that right no matter what. This is on the smaller side.
