so my neighbor who is a bike mechanic and is moving and was clearing some stuff out so he gave me this fixed gear bike, which he converted from a road bike. It rides awesome!
Foot retention would be my first upgrade, I started w/ powerstraps and loved em.

Seeing conversions makes me miss my first build. Forever gonna miss my Peugeot

I wouldn’t change anything if you like a ride, perhaps these are not the best components, but will work for a while. Get a foot retention and you are fine.

It needs a new wheelset, deep carbon rear and aerospoke front, larger chainring, omnium cranks, brooks c17, Thompson post, nitto stem, riser bars, and while you’re at it replace the frame too.

Just ride it sheesh. Not everything needs to be upgraded.

foot retention, a rear light, and a lock, and then just ride it till you want to add something ☺️

I wouldn’t bother doing anything to it unless I get a quill stem fixed gear frame from luck to swap everything over. I like the wheels tho
