  1. I don’t hassle people like this. They set their price and, it’s their price. If nobody buys their thing, maybe they’ll have to lower the price.

I had a guitar for sale once. It was built in the ’30s. It was in museum condition and played wonderfully.

I had it up for sale on craigslist and some guys started ragging on me that my price was too high and how dare I set the price that high and everything else.

So I ask him if he wanted to buy it and that seemed to piss him off even more.

I sold it one week later for exactly the asking price that I had to a very happy customer who is more than overjoyed to pay the price for this guitar.

So, maybe they’ll find a buyer for that frame that they are so very proud of but, I’m not going to waste any energy hassling them over it.

Why? Yes, it is a ridiculous amount, but you’re not biying ot, so I don’t see the harm. It is good for a laugh, but actually going to the trouble of messaging? Yeah, no.

  3. Heh, ya didn’t “have to” though.

People are trying to sell RH frames for like 200 on eBay, so maybe the nice thing would be to direct them to that platform, not that they’re flying off the shelves at that price…

But yeah, it’s ridic. I got my ’93 StumpJumper M2 frame for $40 cash + a Flite Titanium (that I got at an estate sale for $4).

Yea that’s rude. If you’re not interested don’t bother them! Of you’re interested but it’s too much, make a lowball offer, it works sometimes!
