1639 USD for the bike. Its a 2022 that was "fully serviced" as they say in the shop. Is it fair? What should I watch out for. I'm new to riding please excuse my ignorance. Chain was changed and they will fit new XR4 tires + pedals for 18400 USD roughly (Trek fuel EX GEN 5 2022)

I wouldn’t pay more than $1200 for it
For the same price or less you can find a bike with much better components
MSRP was $2500US. A one year old bike ***should*** cost 50% of MSRP whether it’s from a shop or private seller. It’s four years old. $900 tops.
That reaktiv shock can be a headache and bontrager tires are starter tires, I wouldn’t pay more to have a new set put on. 1400 as is would be a good price
You’re gonna get some unrealistic pricing advice in this sub, but the sellers asking price is most definitely too much. I’d say $1k-$1200 is fair if in good condition. Also consider the suspension may need servicing if not recently done.
