Recently picked up a Checkpoint SL5 after I decided to put some continental Terra Trail 700×40 on my Domane AL4 (last photo) and realized I like the option to be both on the pavement as well as gravel.

Coming soon for the Checkpoint, Schwable R One RS Pro in a 700×50 setup. This is my first carbon frame and wow does it feel nice over bumps!

As far as the Domane, currently trying to dial in the derailleur so the cable hex nut does not rub the tire. As you can tell it is VERY close! The head on it is 3 mm, currently trying to see if I can find any options that are a little bit shallow so it eliminates the rub that I only get on the smallest gear.

  1. Nice bike! Only thing I’ve done to my Checkpoint so far is changed the bar tape. I’m hoping to do some other little personal things this summer.

That frame bag is an absolute game changer. Typically, I carry the tools or parts I’d need to get back from the middle of nowhere, a jacket, my phone, 2 pro-bars, and a little Leica. The key-chain clip is a nice touch too. It’s a great bit of kit.
