I was cleaning the bike yesterday and noticed a small clip thing on the front derailer was loose. I've attached the photos.
I hadn't noticed this bit before so I'm assuming I've reattached it back again properly?
It seems to be right, just checking with the experts!

Yes, you’ve reattached it correctly. It’s called a “link cover”, see manual page 22: https://si.shimano.com/en/pdfs/dm/RAFD012/DM-RAFD012-00-ENG.pdf
Looks good, it’s just a dust cover. I actually took mine off because it rubs my tire.

It’s better to put that cable under that little pin so it doesn’t come undone again
