Bergamont Beluga Allround 2008 was the first bike I bought with my own money. I searched for quite a while and ended up ordering the bike from Germany. AFAIK, Bergamont hasn’t been sold in Finland. Originally a 700c hybrid with basic Suntour suspension fork and V-brakes. The frame is super versatile. Here it’s build as a 26″ hardtail using a 29″ 100 mm suspension fork and disc brakes. I also rode it with the original 622×35 Schwalbe CX Comp tires and a disc brake wheelset. It has been my dedicated winter bike for some years with studded tires but this winter haven’t had any icy or too slippery conditions so it’s sitting in the basement. Also the 175 mm cranks currently on it are a nuisance. Now everything is melting so fast that it looks like maybe I don’t need to even use studs this year.

Very nice. They don’t make them like that anymore. Seems very well suited to your use case.
Nice. Google AI helped with decoding the model name on the top tube: Fluxus
Looks like a great commuter bike, wish I could ride mine to work… Maybe someday. Enjoy and be safe.
