Hey! We f**d up and didn't order camping gas to our first apartment on canary island trip. We couldn't find any yesterday on Tenerife as it was very late. We took the ferry to la Palma today and found some gas in a gift store but it's the "punch in" type. Does anyone have a clue where we can find screw top type cartridges tomorrow? 🙏

I check already on the app Rolling Around, but there are just a few campspots added. If you are lucky and find a place , maybe you add it the to the map. There is a designated waypoint for “gas canisters”. I guess it will be super helpful for bike travelers after you. Good luck and enjoy your trip

Last time I was there, I gave up and bought a burner for the punch ins… I wasn’t in Las Palmas though, maybe you are lucky at some camping / climbing store or at decathlon.
decathlon, I bought a (very) large screw type canister in the one near Santa Cruz last week. not the little store in the centre, the one towards the airport
