What brake cable lengths does everyone run? Looking to get a set of brakes but I don’t want a cable that’s too too long

I take the bike, zip tie the line to the top tube loose enough to still slide through, then I make sure it’s long enough to spin the bars once with some slack leftover to still turn, if I’m not running a gyro.
